Describe yourself in three words:

Enthusiastic, Energetic, Persistent
Tell us a little about your latest release:
Lizbet's Lie.  Assaulted and pregnant, sixteen-year-old Lizbet Morgan is shipped off to give birth in secrecy and hand her baby over to strangers. When she returns home to her family’s strict religious community, she is expected to pick up where she left off.
But the nightmare isn’t over. Her friend Johnny isn’t the only one asking questions, and Lizbet fears that the reason for her absence will soon be discovered. She must decide whether to tell the truth or continue to obey a religious system that forces her to tell intolerable lies.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This story hurt me to write. All the way through, I suffered for Lizbet. The idea for this story came to me through a mixture of experiences my students had faced. It's a bit of a conglomeration plus a bit of  imagination.
What is your earliest memory?

My earliest memory is sitting in the backseat of our huge boat of a Buick. My sister had thrown my shoe out the window at the last rest stop, and I was trying to get my dad to go back. My parents didn't believe me at first. Finally, my mom leaned over the seat and searched for my shoe. Sure enough, it was gone!!!  We went back.
What would you consider the greatest moment in your life?

Marrying my husband and giving birth to my two kids.  Okay, so that's three moments, but how could I choose among them?
What’s the hardest thing in in life you’ve done?

Standing by my dad's casket to say good-bye.
What have you learned in life so far?

That so many daily details aren't really important in the greater scheme of life.
Everyone’s favourite question: if you could invite five people for dinner, who would it be?

Alexandra Stoddard, Bob Proctor, Joe Vitale, Thomas Jefferson, Eleanor Roosevelt     Now, that would be a fun mix!!!  :-)
