This week we have a special guest on Three Truths and a lie. Astraea Press author April Gardner. Lets give her a had :)
Thank you all for stopping by. Obviously, I am an AP author. I have rheumatoid arthritis and am an avid
DIYer. Nothing slows me down and there's nothing I won't try to make or do
myself. Now for my Three Truths and one lie. See if you can guess the fib.
I make my own toothpaste
I've tiled half the floors in my house.
I make my own laundry detergent.
I use homemade deodorant.

Phillip Seifert, the odd boy from down the street, has all the markings of a genuine Nazi-lover. Lizzie knows better than to trust him, but he somehow manages to weasel his way into James’ good graces. Phillip joins the gang in their audacious escape plan, and Lizzie can do little more than pray he doesn’t get them all shot. But Lizzie soon learns that God doesn’t always answer prayers in the way she expects. He might actually plan for them to live under Nazi rule…forever.
If you have RA, no way could you tile the floors! At least I wouldn't try. Good for you if you did, though!
ReplyDeleteSince the products are all homemade and go together I'll go with the tile floors as the fib. Dunno but sounds logical!! :)

DeleteTa da! I'm here!! Albeit a little late. Crazy day!
ReplyDeleteThose are very smart guesses, you two. Logical.
Alas, I HAVE tiled half my floors. Don't think my knees will ever be the same again, but yes, I did it.
The lie is... I DON'T use homemade deodorant. I tried it for a short while, but decided I loved my friends and family too much to put them through that. LOL
Nope. It's chemical laden commercial deodorants for me. :-)Smelling pretty is important!!
I decided on the deodorant as the lie before I read your answer, April - honest!!! (Now you decide whether THAT was a lie!)
ReplyDeleteLOL!
DeleteHmm...I somehow believe you. ;-)
I had figured the fib was about toothpaste.
ReplyDeleteActually, it kinda is, since at the present I'm experimenting with something new. In the meantime, I'm back to "regular" toothpaste. :-)
